Suzanne Toomey

Suzanne Toomey has been involved with horses for over 30 years and is a founding board member of Hoof New Zealand. She lives in Southland, New Zealand and is a qualified Equine Touch Practitioner.

Here's how she describes her involvement with horses:

"I have always loved horses and have been around them for most of my life. What interests me the most is the well-being of the horse. This led down a path of lots of study for the last 20 years. I recently qualified as an Equine Touch Practitioner. I have also studied Equine Acupressure in Australia.

"I strongly believe in continuing education, and I attend at least one (but usually more) equine related clinics each year to keep up to date with the latest research in my never-ending quest to make life better for horses and to share this information with horse-owners.
